One weekend back in February of 2014, I had the crazy idea to start implementing a SQLite ADO.NET provider as a portableclass library. My initial goal was to better understand SQLite, ADO.NET, and unmanaged interop. I showed it to my team(the Entity Framework team), and we decided that it was strategically important to running EF on Windows Store andWindows Phone. My code eventually evolved into the package. UsageThe provider is built on top of the contract. This contract is a very small subset of theADO.NET provider model. Using the provider should feel very natural to anyone familiar with ADO.NET.
